Melissa Middleton Biliter sees creative expression as a force for both fostering change and building resilience on both a community and an individual level. Her studies included fine arts and engineering work, and she has maintained life-long interests in fashion and architectural design. She enjoys drawing, sewing, all things fiber, painting, and writing. Melissa has volunteered with several organizations benefiting children and/or the arts and holds equity and access to opportunity as central values.
